Why, it is double feature Friday! It is when two movies come out and you can’t decide what to see, so you go see both.

I agree with the comment Brandy left in this entry about how she thinks the dog is going to die. I will probably cry because I’m kind of a baby about those kind of things
Other than that, it looks really good. I seen the preview forever ago and have been waiting for it to come out.
and

Yesterday my sister, Sara, informed me if she married the guy from Juno, her name would be Sara Cera. Yeaaaah, that is all I am going to say about that.
What are you up to this weekend?
P.S. Trailers for Juno and I Am Legend after the jump!

We are contemplating a road trip to Chicago, because Juno doesn’t open here in Detroit until next week! As if I can wait that long! I’ve been waiting since I saw the trailer before Lars and the Real Girl. My expectations for this movie an unreasonably high - but I know it will probably meet all of them anyway.
The world might cease to exist if you come here, Tiff. Both of us in the same city? Chicago might not be able to handle it!
I reallyreallyreallly want to see those movies too! Especially Juno. Anything with George Michael in it has to be good. My boyfriend tells me to stop calling him George Michael, but in my heart that’s who he is.
I hadn’t heard of Juno until now but I gotta see it. I’m going to watch I am Legend, of course.
Since my boyfriend is coming in for good this week, I figured that I’d make him dinner (which I have never done..so cross your fingers), take him to the planetarium to see the Christmas show, and end the night at the park looking at the Christmas lights.
I also have a tacky sweater party to go to..gotta celebrate the end of finals. Have a great weekend. If you go and watch one of those movies..tell me what you think.
Post pictures of your sweaters!
I haven’t heard of Juno either but I’m dying to see I Am Legend. I think I’ll wait for someone I know to see it first though because I don’t think I could watch a dog die in a movie either.
I’ll let you know how it goes, Lisa.
I know
i’m totally going to see both this weekend. see you at the theater!
I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE JUNO.
In fact, this is how excited I am: dkfjdflkgjrtyflgkhjfy
I really want to see Juno! Let us know how they are if you see them
:)
I can’t wait to see Juno! I just hope it will be in theaters here.
Ooh, I really want to see Legend. I, too, can’t stand seeing a dog (or any animal) die in a movie. Jon makes fun of me because I take it so hard. There was a scene in an episode of the show Medium where a dog is being horrendously abused and a week later I thought about it and burst into tears. Jon couldn’t believe it when I explained to him why I was crying. He tried to soothe me by telling me it wasn’t real, but that didn’t work because you know it is happening somewhere.
Jeez, I’m a Debbie Downer today. Enjoy the movies!
I’m glad I’m not alone on this dog dying business. (As opposed to you know, the masses who enjoy seeing dogs die in movies). As much as I want to see it, I think I might have to wait for it to come out on DVD (dear GOD! I almost said video. This is the future! We say DVD!). I can’t do the quiet silent cry when I’m sad, so if this dog dies (and I think it does) then I will be the girl bawling and sobbing in row 12 of the movie theatre. And no one wants that. No one.
And you know, it’s not just the dog dying. It’s knowing just how great Will Smith is at crying. And if he cries… well I know I’m going to be crying. He just has those big, fat tears you know?
Basically, I can sum it up like this
1 dog dying + 1 Will smith crying = me a heaving mess on the floor that has to be scraped up with a shovel.
Okay. I’m done now. I promise.
Oh man. I love double feature day. I am so excited for you that you get to have double feature day. Maybe you should get some movie snacks too, to up the whole experience (not that it needs upped!)
oh, and i called you out on my blog today, by the way. because today is Reveal Your Blog Crush Day and all.
I reaaaaallly want to see Juno, it just looks so funny and cute and did I say funny? And I want to see I Am Legend, but I’m kind of a wuss and it actually looks really creepy so I don’t know if I can handle it. But let me know what you think.
I’m thinking about seeing August Rush finally or Juno, I need to see something, it’s been forever since I went to the movies.
Anyhoo I’m rambling, have a great weekend!
I really want to see Juno too! I had friend who saw it a couple months ago at the film festival; they said it was the best movie they had seen through out the entire week. It has a couple of GG nominations as well.
test
omg i won’t be able to handle it if the dog dies. i haven’t even seen that “eight below” movie for that reason.
My weekend isn’t all fantastical. No movies in my forecast. I have a shift at my school’s clinic tomorrow and then hopefully I can wrap up my Christmas shopping Sunday.
I can’t wait to hear about Juno. I’d love to see it. I’m living through you!
I plan on seeing both, too!
Can’t wait to see Juno. It looks so spunky!!
And I have mad awesome plans for this weekend. Let’s see… it’s 11pm on a Friday night so that means… I’m studying for finals!!! And I’m nursing my studying hangover tomorrow morning by TAKING A FINAL! Then I’m helping The Beau move! Wow, don’t you wish your weekend plans were as exciting as mine?
lol @ the dog comment!
I remember seeing that movie preview last time I was at the movies with my boyfriend to see Saw IV. As soon as it was over, I leaned towards him and said, “10 bucks that the dog dies.”
I really want to go see those movies! I think I’ll end up seeing “Juno” first…I am a big fan of Michael Cera. Maybe too big of a fan…but that is not important. Also, I really hope the dog doesn’t die in “I Am Legend”! The story itself could be sadder than heck, but I’d cry more for the dog than anything else.
Goodnight it is COMING DOWN out there. I saw “I Am Legend” tonight and truthfully- I wasn’t terribly impressed. Juno was sold out but if I can dig out tomorrow, I’ll have to try again then!
What is with Will Smith and dogs in movies. Remember there was that dog in Independence Day and he didn’t die! The saved him from the fire in the tunnel thank god. I don’t think I’m going to see I Am Legend in theaters, because if it does happen it would just be too much for me.
I am pumped about Juno, though!
[...] like a million years ago, I said I was going to the movies? Two times in one day? Well, that never happened. Unfortunately, I only ended up seeing I Am Legend that day. It was [...]
