I hate thinking of titles almost as much as I hate snow

December 17th, 2007 at 1:01 pm . Posted in whiny things .

Can I just say how much I hate snow? We got like a foot this past week and I was stuck shoveling out my stupid, very huge driveway yesterday. My back is aching. My arms are aching. Stupid snow.
Then today I get to work and manage to get myself stuck in my parking spot. That will be a bitch trying to get out of once I leave here.

I HATE SNOW.

Friday, I also managed to lock my keys in my car and, OF COURSE, lost the spare. $40 later I have my keys and a spare made on the spot. It hilarious because I usually check if I have my keys like 3 times before I get out of the car because I am so paranoid about locking them in the car.

It wasn’t snowing at the time, but there was still some on the ground.

Also, Macy’s shipped out each pair of my shoes seperately, charged me one for the both of them AND then decided to charge me AGAIN for only ONE pair of them. I paid for one pair twice? Then I call Macy’s, after 3 times of being on hold for over a half an hour, they tell me how they only charged me for each pair once. THEN I call my bank and they tell me Macy’s made TWO charges not one like they said. Now I am going to have to call Macy’s back and throw a fit on the phone because they are obviously morons.

Marshall Field’s would never do this to me.

I’m blaming it all on the snow.

Snow ruins my life.

Yeah, that’s how I feel about Macy’s too. Macy’s wrongs me in all sorts of ways Kaufman’s never would. I find myself thinking, “Kaufman’s would never pull this crap”

I bought boots from Macy’s, but I’ve heard crazy stuff about their online ordering, so I called the store and had them held for me. Sheesh. Hope you get that fixed, it’s never fun when money is involved!

I still don’t shop at Macy’s and still call the State St. store Field’s. It will always be Field’s, and they definitely wouldn’t have messed up like that.

Ugh, we spent HOURS snowblowing our driveway yesterday. And the mooches upstairs didn’t do a damn thing! (we thought that they weren’t home). They get to do the driveway the next two snowstorms, I’m sick of this shit.

I wish we had some snow! If only to get me out of work for a day or two. And boo on Macy’s! I would call them and rip them a new one!

Okay so it snowed so much I thought my exam this morning would be canceled. So I slacked off a bit. Then this morning it wasn’t a snow day so, unprepared and cold, I had to leave like 10 minutes early just to trudge through the darn stuff.
But, I love snow. Oh snow.

Send the snow here! I love snow and I’ll happily take it. Sorry to hear it’s been sucky. Hope the snow magically transports itself here, and you get sunny days. Because hi, your peep toes need peeping. Want to see them!

Oh gosh… I hate locking my keys in the car but i do it ALL THE TIME. Now I have a spare taped on the inside of my gas can with duct tape. I know it’s kinda crazy but you wouldn’t believe how many times I have lost them.

I agree whole-heartedly. Snow bites. Sure, it’s pretty in a movie or on a postcard but not in real life. I think you are entirely justified in blaming the vile white evilness for anything which goes wrong in your life. I got tricked into moving to the snowy part of the country, and I look forward to the day I can move out of it every year around this time.

Nice blog, though. Well written. Funny, light, personal. Very enjoyable.

i have a love/hate relationship with snow. it’s beautiful, but i manage to get stuck about 3-4 times per “snowfall”…luckily hasn’t happened yet, but i’ve been nervous. it took me an hour to get home last night, when usually it takes 20-25 min.

i won’t mention my thoughts on the keys…cause then i’ll go lock myself out tomorrow.

Also? I hate snow too. You’re not alone. At least I don’t have to brush off my car or maneuver slushy roads anymore.

I hate having to get on the phone and argue with folks over their stupid ass mistakes. Dish Network is my main pain in the ass, followed by my mortgage company. And Earthlink? Don’t even get me started.
