Remember like a million years ago, I said I was going to the movies? Two times in one day? Well, that never happened. Unfortunately, I only ended up seeing I Am Legend that day. It was good, could have been a lot better though. It was very sad, there was a part in the video store, that practically had me bawling.
Anyway, that brings me to this:

Last night, I finally got around to seeing Juno. I’m telling you all right now - you must go immediately to see this movie. Run, do not walk. I loved it. It wasn’t OMG AMAZING!? But I thought it was pretty fantastic. I’m downloading the soundtrack as soon as I get a chance. Ellen Page was perfect and will definitely be someone to look out for in the future.
Has anyone else seen it? What did you think?

I really wanted to love it, I had been waiting for it’s release for months.
I agree that Ellen Page did a great job, and Michael Cera will hold my heart no matter what role he plays.
It’s just…I felt like it was too contrived. And her complete emotional disregard for her baby felt unbelievable, to me–like it was an after thought.
I LOOOOVED it! I sincerely thought it was about flawless. Favorite parts were her phone conversations and all interactions with Pauly Bleeker.
Juno: I think I’m, like, in love with you.
Bleeker: You mean as friends?
Juno: No, I mean, like, for real. ‘Cause you’re, like, the coolest person I’ve ever met, and you don’t even have to try, you know…
Bleeker: I try really hard, actually.
Ah I loved it too! In addition to being hilarious, it was so much more poignant and wonderful than I thought it was going to be.
I bawled like a baby in I Am Legend too. Obviously I have issues.
Will have to see Juno soon!
Seeing it tomorrow with a girlfriend - been looking forward to it since I saw a preview a couple of months ago! I just hope they don’t do an awful labor scene - I can’t handle anything else to worry about while pregnant!
Haven’t seen it yet, nor I Am Legend for that matter. Not sure I can sit through the latter. Will definitely catch this one though.
saw it. loved it! my favorite line:
Juno: Your so cool without even trying.
Paulie: I try really hard actually.
Thanks for the get well wishes! That was so sweet. I can’t wait to see Juno. I am going soon. Then we can discuss this awesome movie. I think I will go to Itunes to listen to the soundtrack. Love the Brit post, too.

I liked I Am Legend as well, but I feel like it was a good movie that could have been great. I cried at the video store part too, as well as every time they did the voice over about him being at the dock every day at 12 :-[ idk why, it was just terribly sad and lonely.
I’m seeing Juno tomorrow and I’m so excited!
The movie was incredible. I mean off the charts incredible. Up there with my favorites, the writing was witty…the performances, perfection. Really well done, especially on a subject that’s touchy. HOORAY!
Love, love, loved this movie. It’s one of those movies that makes me want to write a movie.
I haven’t seen it yet but my sister and her husband went and brought me a “Flying Elk Condors” gym t shirt!
Love, love, loved it! So funny and the soundtrack was so great!
My favorite character was Juno’s stepmother (and her dad was pretty awesome too). I thought they did such a good job of portraying kinda off/really supportive parents in a kooky kind of way. Oh and I really want a hamburger phone!
Jessi (TKTC) - I loved that part. I always hear it on the radio too in commercials and it never fails to make me smile.
Michelle - Can’t wait to hear what you think of it! The labor scene wasn’t too bad. Don’t worry!
Emily - Totally agree on the parents! I loved them. Bren (stepmother) was hilarious!
“honest to blog!”
haha. juno was fun. not the best indie film i’ve ever seen but the dialogue made it worth it.
I thought Juno was great. It was a little different then I expected but I still really enjoyed it.
I am Legend was alright but I agree it could have been better. They seemed to start a few small interesting things and then never go anywhere with it. But Will was great :p
totally loved it, and if you want the soundtrack “free of charge” let me know.
someone said she had emotional disregard for her baby, and I kinda disagree. I thought Ellen Page played the line perfectly, putting up a tough front, knowing she couldn’t adequately take care of her baby, not wanting to turn into her mother, all wrapped up in the total confusion that comes with being a sixteen year old and in love.
And Jason Bateman! Even though he was a total douchenozzle, I adore him forever and always.
Oh my goodness, I also CRIED at I am Legend. THE DOG! OMG! TEARS!
I saw it yesterday and LOVED it. Ah, it was just perfect.
Yesssss Juno was incredible. I saw I Am Legend on IMAX and it was pretty intense. I thought it was decent.
I heart Juno! I dragged my husband to see it and he we pleasantly surprised…it’s such a great movie!
Saw it. Love it. Definite girl-crush on Ellen Page.
I really liked Juno. I also really really loved P.S. I Love You. I really didn’t expect to like it so much but…it was amazing! The boys are hot, the movie is sad. It’s wonderful. Go see it. Now! Now! Now!
Loved it!!!!
So much!
I want to go back to high school and be Juno’s BFF (rather than her lame BFF) and to seduce Bleeker too
Bleeker is so freakin fine!
I saw it, and i laughed so hard. Bleeker reminds me of this kid in my school that i used to like.
