I was going to talk a little about last night’s episode, but I changed my mind when I saw what I’m going to do next. If anyone wants a recap, go see Tiff. I love her recaps more than life!
Last night, I came across The Top 10 Designs of Season 4. Obviously, Yahoo doesn’t know shit, because a lot of these are fucking hideous. Your opinions no longer count when they include a WWE Diva outfit out of all the freaking designs that were made on this show. Seriously.
So today we are going to have Oh! How Lovely’s Top 10 Designs of Season 4. How do you like them apples, yahoo?

Number 10. From the Levi’s challenge, I chose Sweet P’s dress. She ended up with this, when her first thoughts were to do a denim wedding gown! Thank God, Tim Gunn talked her out of that hippy dippy idea. It’s cute and simple, you could dress it up a little or dress it down. It works for me!

Number 9. I chose this outfit from the What’s the Skinny? challenge for the top ten. I thought Christian really updated her look. He showed off the fact that she looks amazing after dropping all of that weight. It’s not over the top, definitely something a lot of women would have in their closets. His client was thrilled with her design, after basically declaring she didn’t like anything but black when her and Christian were brainstorming. She looked great!

Number 8. I chose another dress from the Levi’s challenge. Now it may not be classic Levi’s but still it was cute. Ricky’s little denim dress was my choice for number 8. Mainly, the ruffle bottom and the buttons do it for me.

Number 7. Oh prom! Now this was the episode we all knew that if Christian didn’t get kicked off for that piece of shit dress he made, he was definitely making it to Bryant Park. Those judges love that kid. But! That is not what number 7 is about. I really though Sweet P should have won this challenge. Her dress fit perfect, the color flattered the girl’s skin so nicely, but I suppose it may have been a little sophisticated. Who cares though? I loved it.

Number 6. We have Jillian’s Argonaut inspired design. The dress was sexy, hip and fun. The jacket was perfect. Perfect cut and accented just right, from the cutouts on the back down to the gold piping. Send me one of these please!
Number 5. I think I, along with everyone else, expected Chris to go nuts with the Hershey’s challenge. I was really expecting a giant Hershey’s kiss to walk around the runway or something. I was very impressed with the dress. You probably wouldn’t know it was cut up from Hershey’s pillows unless someone told you or your really examined it.
Number 4. I’m really not a fan of flared wide legged pants, but I really did love this outfit from the revamping outdated trends challenge. I think with the top, it just looked so nice together. The color and the dark denim was just perfect. Another great Jillian design that I could picture walking down a runway.

Number 3. Like a kid in a candy store. I think this was the most fun design Rami did all season. It still has the Rami look to it with the pleating, but it isn’t really what I expected from him. I think it’s fabulous and if it was actual fabric, I’d probably want it!

Number 2. As much as I hate Christian’s annoying ass, this dress from episode 8 was impeccable. Definitely with the help of big ole teddy bear Chris though. It would still be beautiful, but without that collar, I don’ think it would have the same dramatic effect. We all know Chris is about the drama (human hair? um…ew)! Don’t worry, I still think Christian is an annoying little rat though, the dress didn’t sway me that much.

And last, but most definitely not least, I chose Jillian’s jacket for the avant garde challenge. This is definitely my favorite piece in this whole competition. Jillian nailed it with the over all look, design, shape and down the details. The pink tartan lining and little details all over the jacket definitely earned the number one spot in my book. I would wear this every day of my life if I could. It is amazing.

Alright, thoughts? Agree or disagree? What would you pick? Did Rami or Chris deserve to show at Bryant Park after last night’s runway show? Who do you think will take it all?
I’m still pulling for Jillian like I have been all along!

I agree and think those are all fine choices.
I about died last night when I was watching PR. That house that Chris March’s friend lived in. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I would feel so claustrophobic in there. Unreal!
I also think it’s interesting that Rami now has a chance to edit his pieces based on the judges feedback. I am still hoping Christian wins, but I would be fine will Jillian. Just not Rami.
Is it me or is Number 1 very Jeffery? Its probably the tartan. I did heart that yellow couture dress he did in the Paris episode.
I agree with you — Jillian all the way! I seriously would wear her clothes, and that’s kind of a big deal for me…
Sometimes I think I can sew and design clothes and then I see amazing pieces like this and I realize, um no, I really can’t. I still have yet to get around to getting Bravo so I’ve missed the entire season, so no real insight from me except that that jacket is impeccable.
Loved your favorite outfits from this season. What a fun way to recap the season! I definitely didn’t agree with all the judges’ choices this year, but I never really do. Sweet P never should’ve made it as far as she did. And Kit shouldn’t have been kicked off as early. But, alas. That’s why the judges are sitting where they are - clearly they know something I don’t! Can’t wait for the finale next week … I love this show … and the only thing keeping my going knowing PR is about to end is … Top Chef is about to begin!
I’m not going to lie, number two scares me.
#6! #1!! Alll the way!
Oooh, I hadn’t seen that wide leg pant one yet.
i agree with all of your choices, but as far as some of my personal favorites that weren’t super “fashiony”, i like rami’s drapey stuff. i feel like that’s flattering on everyone, right?
anywho, you’ll probably want to kick me, but i like christian. he’s super queeny and melodramatic and fairly annoying, but i find that endearing. dunno why. =)
between chris and rami…that’s a hard one. i love chris’ costumey flair, but i feel like rami is more commerical.
ohwell, we’ll see. jillian…well…i can’t get past the fact that i feel like she’s dead-behind-the-eyes.
so i say (and again, i’m sure you’ll want to kick me, but that’s ok since other than that we agree on tons of stuff and i heart you, clearly!) CHRISTIAN FTW!
I agree with just about everything. Jillian really makes outstanding jackets. Sweet P’s prom dress definitely should won. It’s the only one I would have wore if I was 17.
I love Jillian, she is who I want to win hands down. Christian makes me want to bang my head against the wall! He does really great work, don’t get me wrong… but everything about him makes me want to puke. I think Jillian is more mature, and has the work to pull through. I really hope she wins, and I hope that Rami drapes himself to death. Kidding. I did want Chris to get through, despite the human hair.
When the series first started I thought I wouldn’t like Jillian’s stuff and that I’d sort of just forget about her - but she’s been churning out some good designs! I must admit though, I’m a Christian fan and I’m hoping he wins. :)
Oh I am in love with number 6, that jacket screams to me YES YES!! The detail and lining is just awesome
I loved Chris’s stuff. I was so disappointed when he got auf’ed. :(
