Today has been a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.
I worked a 10.5 hour day with a baby attached to my hip who screamed if put down for a second. A 2.5 year old who refused to listen. I had two screaming kids, crying about every and anything. Don’t want to eat, don’t want to nap, don’t want to this, don’t want to that. For 10.5 hours. Okay 9 hours, minus naptime. Dora the Explorer did not even save me.
NOT EVEN DORA.
I walked outside to my finally get in my car and find a parking ticket. A soggy one, no less because of course - it is raining.
Stupid rain.
Stupid street cleaning.
Cranky kids.
Stupid Dora.
I think I’ll move to Australia.

{{{hugs}}}
that sounds totally sucktacular. :(
Is there no Dora in Australia?
Aw, poor thing. Why did you get a parking ticket?
And thanks for the wonderful memory of that fantastic book. :)
I really, really feel for you on this one, Jamie, because I had that bad day yesterday: the 4 year-old and 2.5 year-old I work with both had terrible colds and it was pouring. Today was better though, and I really hope tomorrow is better for you!
If you do decide to go to Australia, though, please say hi to Alexander for me. :)
Move to Canada. It’s like Australia but largely different in every way.
Oh darlin’ what a crappy day! I’m sorry. It must be in the air. My day was just as horrific! Go over to my blog and check out my day maybe it will give your a smile.
Will you bring me with you?
I’m sorry your day was so crummy. At least you didn’t go to sleep with gum in your mouth, and wake up with gum in your hair, right?
I lived in Australia for 6 months. It’s a wonderful place. =) Highly recommended!
awww sucky. But I bet Australia is exciting ;)
I just read that Alexander book the other day! I love it, but my favourite is Alexander who used to be rich last Sunday. Have you read that one?
Also, Australia is lovely but America’s Next Top Model is far better than their version.
And apparently, we now use Next Top Model as a criteria to decide where to live.
Awesome.
Australia might be good,The accents are hot, that’s a huge plus.
Australia! Yes! I’m in, when do we leave?
Oh girl, your day sounds too familiar!
Remember, it’s just one day out of your wonderful, lovely life. Chin up.
xo,
L
Sounds like a terrible day! I’d definitely join you in Australia!
I’m sorry you had a bad day yesterday. It must have been going around because mine was awful too. I hope today is better for you! :)
Can I move with you?
Eeh. Cranky kids. No fun. And the parking ticket and rain? Also no fun. I wonder how much is rains in Australia..
Here’s to hoping today is A LOT better.
That is ROUGH.
Hurry up, though, summer is almost over in Australia!
sadly, it rained in Australia today. I know. It stopped me working.
but generally, we’re quite stunning.
MOOOVE! Then Edie and Wally can be playmates.
Australia has koala bears, and those are awesome, so I think I’ll come with you.
Okay?
[...] need to read Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Some people caught the Australia reference. Gold stars for you! It’s my favorite children’s book. Although, I would love to go [...]
No moving to Australia, at least, not until I am back there so we can have a barbie!
*wonders if you’ll understand*

Sorry I’m late on this, but I hope the rest of your week has been better! :)
