Today after work, I’m going to a signing for Such a Pretty Fat by the only and only, Jen Lancaster of Jennsylvania. I will be going with the other, just a fabulous, Jenn who turned me on to the books by gifting me with Bitter is the New Black for my birthday! It should be a good night.

OMG!!!! Post pictures!! I want to go to the signing in Atlanta on the 13th (?), but don’t know if I’ll be able to afford the gas since hubs isn’t getting a paycheck for a whole month.
I’m jealous!! I plan to go out later and buy Such a Pretty Fat. I just finished BITNB a couple of weeks ago and it was my first read of hers, too!!!

Oooh I didn’t know she had a new one! I still haven’t read the 2nd one…I’ll probaly be buying both for my summer vaca!!! Such fabulous beach/pool reading!
I looooove reading but I keep not putting time aside to do it. In the summertime I definitely read more because I love to come home from work, have a glass of wine (maybe some cheese and crackers) and read on the porch. So relaxing, try it some time!
BITNB might have to be next after I finally finish all the HHGTTG (Hitchhikers’ Guide to the Galaxy) Books…

Currently, i’m reading “Emma’s War” which is about a British aid worker who moves to Sudan to help the people. While there, she falls inlove (and marries) a warlord. It’s a true story, and sadly, I found out (by reading news headlines of it) that she died (but not sure how yet) and she was fairly young. It’s so sad
But, I’m not done yet!

But I can’t wait to read her new book!! I pre-ordered it from Amazon.
