It's times like these that we realize that no matter what, our parents are just as screwed up as everyone else. They're BOTH being childish, IMHO. Your dad's dating thing doesn't make him any better. My advice to you would be to tell them both that you don't want them to dump their emotional baggage on you. Remind them that you're their KID and they shouldn't be dumping or sharing too much personal information with you anyway. If they want to be assholes to each other then fine, whatever, but they shouldn't be putting you in such an awkward situation. I hope everything works out for your family.
