Some of you know I use to recap Project Runway weekly. Well this season rolled around and I wasn’t really interested in recaps. I’m definitely still watching though! Inspired by a conversation with Alexa earlier today, I thought maybe since we are five episodes in, I’d post a few thoughts on some of the designers and the outfits that have stuck out in my head.

So honestly, this far the designers come to mind first are Leanne, Kenley, Keith, Suede, Blaine, Terri, Koto and Stella. My favorites are Leanne and Korto. Least favorites are….care to take a guess? Blayne-licious and Keith.

Leanne’s design aesthetic is gorgeous. I would wear most of what she has made so far. She also sells on etsy which is very cool. It seems like when she is on she is awesome but when she’s off it’s pretty bad. I loved this design of hers thouh. LOVED.

In the first episode, Korto made a kimono out of a tablecloth and some vegetables, that set the stage. I knew I was going to like her. Her Olympics design was great she was one of the only people who got it and didn’t make a fucking SKORT. This inside-out shit was bad though. Very bad. The design below was stylish and sexy and the only pants outfit

Keith has been pissing me off. The attitude and the stringy swatchey piecy shit? Not a good look. It makes your tiny model look like she has no body. It’s sloppy and just not cute. Get a new idea, dude. Apparently, he has many ways of approaching the torn up fabric so I really doubt that will be the last of it.

As for Blayne-licious? We all know he is just there for entertainment or annoying value. Licious is never going to happen though, Blayne, kind of like fetch. It’s just not gonna happen! We know you want to be the next Christian with FIERCE and all though fierce got annoying it wasn’t as fucking stupid as “licious”. Then there is always the factor that Christian had talent, while Blayne only has neon colors and asymmetrical lines. Case in point:

Let’s see…how about Jerell? First off, the dude looks like he is homeless and wearing rags all the time. Second of all, this:

That is some Little Miss Muffet sat on a tuffet crap. Seriously, what in the fuck was going through your head? I am DYING to know. A big fat FAIL to you, sir. He did redeem himself with Ms. Leath-uh, herself, Stella in the Welcome to the Jungle challenge. I love how all the textures came together in this outfit.

Oh yes and then we have the skort that Joe made. A fucking skort? I really have no words.

Ugh, this season is kind of making me insane but doesn’t all television? Wait until Top Model starts and then I will be on a freaking rampage. I’m sure I’ll have much more to say about Project Runway soon, no worries!
