So when I returned to my blog Sunday night and saw the post Jamie had taken over with I knew exactly what I had to post on her blog today. Oh and in case you didn’t guess, this is Katelin from gorgeous footsteps in the sand… bringing joy and more NKOTB awesomeness to the wonderful world of lovely.

Now if you’ve never read my blog you might wonder what NKOTB awesomeness I speak of (and by NKOTB I mean New Kids on the Block of course) so let me enlighten you. From the wee age of who knows when I became a New Kids fan. I was probably five when they were at the height of their world domination and let me tell you, I was not one to be left behind. I got the shirts, the VHS tapes, the casettes, the Barbie dolls, the lunch boxes, the beach towels, bed sheets, yeah I had it all….it was slightly ridiculous. And sadly once the bad broke up, my love for them slowly faded away.

However! Ever since my airport run in with my all time fave New Kid Jordan in March, I have been rehooked!

And with a comeback tour, a new CD, a VH1 Behind the Music oh my gosh I just can’t stop. Every time I turn around I’m reminded of how awesome they are and I really can’t stop.

It also doesn’t help that my mom decided to pass along these two gems and remind me of my true fandom:

Remember me? I’m the girl who normally rambles on this little blog here. I know I had some amazing bloggers here for the past week but now you are stuck with me again. I know, I know. I’d be sad too. I missed this place though! Fill me in on what’s going on!

We had Danger Man himself, the lovely and talented Brandy who tells us girls in relationships how it is, Deutlich who is coming to visit me Chicago this weekend, my favorite blog whore, Meghan who screams in strippers faces, the other love of my life, Ben, who enlightened us all about hot, sexy porn, the plan for the blog bash of the century by our hostess with the mostess, Nicole. Friday we had closet White Sox fan, All the Wine, who I absolutely adore and finally, The Googler in the flesh…or text…something like that, but point is - you all now know Jenn’s secret identity.

Now if that isn’t quality entertainment, I don’t know what is. In case you missed any of those, you better get to clickin’!

I’m still working on getting all my vacation photos and thoughts organized but I’ll leave you with Goofy whispering sweet nothings in my ear. He tried to get a little fresh but boyfriend set him in his place.

I leave Sunday for my super amazing Orlando vacation. Now while I’m hanging out boozing it up with Mickey and partying with Spiderman, I’m leaving the blog keys to Jenn. She promised to take care of the Lovely while I’m gone. Of course, I couldn’t leave this blog all barren and lonely for 7 days, so I’ve lined up some great, no - AMAZING guest bloggers to post while I’m away. Seriously, you will laugh and you might cry and you will curse the day I come back and take over control again because I will not live up to the awesomeness that was here while I was gone.

Secondly, I was checking my little blog stat thingy and came across a delightful surprise. Turns out I’m up for a Blogger’s Choice Award!
