Last night Will and I went to the movies. I wanted to see both 27 Dresses and Cloverfield, but I figured I would be a good girlfriend and not force him to sit through a chick flick. Cloverfield, it was. Now, back in July, we went to see Transformers and there was this trailer that left everyone like “what just happened?!”. There was all kinds of hype and rumors and it seemed like it was going to be great. Well as you know, most things probably don’t live up to the hype.
Cloverfield = FAIL
About 20 minutes in, I thought I was going to have to leave because I was so motion sick. I think when you make a monster movie, you want it to seem realistic. This was not. Girls running around in heels the whole movie and absolutely no children or elderly people live in Manhattan apparently. Just little things that kind of left you like, SERIOUSLY?!
All in all, I should have went to see my girl, Izzy. 27 Dresses obviously FTW here, people.
For the past week my DVD player has been broke and that kind of ruins my schedule of watching Grey’s Anatomy seasons 1-3 every waking second. Seriously. It’s like what I do. There isn’t anything on televison? Pop in Grey’s DVD. Since my DVD player is broke, it’s been throwing me off. It’s too quiet in my room. I usually have something on the tv all the time as background noise, even if I’m not really paying attention. I’m not interested in anything else I have on dvd right now. My cables been jacked too, so for some reason, all I’m getting is fuzzy snow. My DVD player was necessary!
Yesterday I went to the boy’s and SURPRISE! I have a brand new little DVD player now! He’s the best.
Here is where I need help. I need to start watching something else or my Grey’s DVDs will get worn out. That would be pretty pathetic!
Favorite movies and television shows on DVD, please? GO!
Remember like a million years ago, I said I was going to the movies? Two times in one day? Well, that never happened. Unfortunately, I only ended up seeing I Am Legend that day. It was good, could have been a lot better though. It was very sad, there was a part in the video store, that practically had me bawling.
Anyway, that brings me to this:

Last night, I finally got around to seeing Juno. I’m telling you all right now - you must go immediately to see this movie. Run, do not walk. I loved it. It wasn’t OMG AMAZING!? But I thought it was pretty fantastic. I’m downloading the soundtrack as soon as I get a chance. Ellen Page was perfect and will definitely be someone to look out for in the future.
Has anyone else seen it? What did you think?

Yesterday at work the little guy wanted to watch High School Musical 2, so his mom put it on for him. It was quite cute watching him dance around to the songs, but that is not what this is all about.
It’s about Vanessa Hudgens, Baby V, Gabriella, call the girl what you will. Can I just say how incredibly wrong it felt watching this girl act all cutesy, knowing that everyone in the world has seen this poor girl’s own baby v? (NSFW, probably NSFL!) You just know she is like a total freak, who loves to send n00dz and can’t wait to break free of the Disney girl image and pose for Playboy or something. It just did not feel right. I don’t know how they are keeping her on for a third film and how everyone seems to have forgotten about the scandal.
Plus, this broad has the bag I want!

Why, it is double feature Friday! It is when two movies come out and you can’t decide what to see, so you go see both.

I agree with the comment Brandy left in this entry about how she thinks the dog is going to die. I will probably cry because I’m kind of a baby about those kind of things
Other than that, it looks really good. I seen the preview forever ago and have been waiting for it to come out.
and

Yesterday my sister, Sara, informed me if she married the guy from Juno, her name would be Sara Cera. Yeaaaah, that is all I am going to say about that.
What are you up to this weekend?
P.S. Trailers for Juno and I Am Legend after the jump!
I kind of hate Dane Cook. No…I do. I think his is the least funny person in the world. Okay, well there are probably more people in the world who are less funny that Dane Cook, but how about out of people who are suppose to be funny? That works. He is the most unfunny guy who is suppose to be funny, considering he is a “comedian”. In fact, he almost ruined the movie I saw this weekend.

Steve Carrell is probably one of the funniest guys in the world (along with my favorite George Lopez, but that is another entry in itself). I mean, seriously, have you seen The Office? If you haven’t, you should probably stop reading my blog, we are not friends (I’m just kidding, don’t stop reading, ilu).
Oh and Emily Blunt was in it! Remember her from Devil Wears Prada? Love her! It was kind of weird not hearing her speak with an accent though. Whatever, that girl is fabulous, no matter how she talks.

Main points of this entry:
- Steve Carrel is hilarious.
- Emily Blunt is fabulous.
- Dane Cook is the most unfunny guy who ever lived.
- Watch the Office.
This weekend I went to see one of the films in the Chicago Film Festival. I caught the third showing of Lars and the Real Girl. It was a sold out showing probably because it was a weekend showing but the film was great! I think it opens nationwide this weekend so I definitely think everyone should go see it. Ryan Gosling is fastly becoming one of my favorite actors, if you have seen Half Nelson, you might agree!
Anyway, Lars and the Real Girl is about a lonely young man who deals with his own issues in a unconventional kind of way. Probably not too hard to figure out based on the title, but go check it out!
