I have no interesting title for today. Sorry.

Yesterday I worked 11 hours. It was a rough day with my little two year old and 3 month old. I was exhausted by the time I left at 7:15pm. If I didn’t have to drive home on 94 and have to fear dying by semi truck, I would have been knocked out. I spent my Friday watching Grey’s dvds, catching up on NaBlaaaaaaMo! blogs and eating some yummy pizza. I fell asleep by 10:30 with the television on and woke up this morning at 11:30. I have to say it was awesome. I needed the sleep and the relaxing night. How was your Friday?

Tonight I will be going out. Hopefully, tomorrow I will have another edition of What Not to do in the Club? Maybe? Hopefully. That was pretty entertaining. Everyone will be dancing and I will furiously typing away on my little Blackberry Pearl trying to document all the insanity for blog material tomorrow! Okay, not really. I doubt I would ever take notes.

It’s Friday! This means I have two actual days of sleeping past 6:30AM. It means I won’t have grubby little fingers poking at me for two days. It means I won’t have to deal with screaming infants and toddlers for TWO DAYS!* Yay Friday!

Today I am proposing a question to all you readers. I was inspired by the last fact on my 100 Things About Me list and that was inspired by conversation with my boyfriend while denim shopping at Old Navy. I think it is kind of funny so I wanted to offer it to the internets. My answer is on my list at the end so if you’d like to know my answer, mosey on over here.

You people are killing me with NaBloPoMo. Do you know how long it took me to get through google reader today? Do you?! A VERY LONG TIME. I can’t keep up and we are only one week down.

I got out of work early today. THANK GOD. If I had to watch another Go Diego! Go! I probably would have cried. Oh the joys of being a nanny. Don’t you just love when kids get stuck on one thing and want it constantly, no matter how much you try to divert their attention? Seriously. Diego is dead. No more Diego. Ever. Sorry.

I added more to my 100 Things About Me today, number 11-35 are new. So now you have 35 more things that you really didn’t care about, but now know, about Jamie.

Dude, how about Top Model last night? What the fuck is wrong with Tyra? She keeps the stupidest girls and sends all the good ones home. You know it’s getting really bad when you can call the bottom 2 in the first 5 minutes. Top Model is so obvious. I will say I can’t wait to see the .gif images that will come from last night’s show. I can make a new Tyra collage. Yes? No?

I’m kind of bummed. I’ve been trying to contact someone about designing my site and I think they are ignoring me. That’s not cool :[

But can I just say how much I love that you guys hate Spencer. It makes for such interesting comments!

I couldn’t really decide on what I wanted to upload for you guys today, so I enlisted a little help from my boyfriend, William. He dj’s pretty regularly here in Chicago, and he knows his shit! Then I picked one, so you have two songs today! Three, if you count last weeks because it is still up!

When Jamie asked me to pick one song to post on her blog, I knew it was going to be a bit tough. I had no clue where to start. Since she was posting something current, I decided to take it a bit back with this one (not too far though).

I’ve made sure that this track is a staple when I’m playing at the club. It isn’t as instantly recognized like his more popular songs (”Kiss”, “When Doves Cry”, “Erotic City”), but it isn’t any less of a jam (give me this song over those others any day). Today is day 5 of NaBloPoMo. My head is filled with themes, servers, redirects and all that ridiculous stuff so I’m resorting to a bullet point entry.

+ I hope you guys found me over here on my BRAND NEW DOMAIN! YAY! Comment and say hi!

+ I have a temporary theme up right now. It’s pink and brown and cute. I’m working out web design right now so hopefully I will have a BRAND NEW DESIGN! to unveil one of these days.

+ I’m trying to figure out where to put my stat counter and all that since I no longer have the included blog stats feature on wordpress.com since moving. I have no idea where it goes. If you know, drop a line!

+ I wasn’t very productive today on my day off, because I was fiddling with my server and blog all day. I was so determined to get it up and running so I literally have spent all day doing so. I can’t be patient, I’m one of those people who have to have things done RIGHT THIS SECOND once they have decided on something.

+ Thank you to The Fool. He was going to set everything up for me until I got all impatient and had to see if I could do it myself. I completely appreciate the offer!

+ I went shopping yesterday for jeans and tights. My boyfriend thought I was crazy buying 6 or 7 pairs of tights but, dude, I’m totally set for the cold Chicago will try to kill me with soon enough.

+ The time change thing has got me all screwed up.

+ Since this entry does nothing but ramble, I’ll leave you with some pretty things. Here’s one of my favorite artists: Audrey Kawasaki. Also, here is her blog. Her work is amazing and I would kill to own one of her pieces or even a print!

Waking up after going out the night before is always rough for me. I worked like 10 hours yesterday and then went out with my boyfriend. I don’t really drink either. Can someone please tell me why I feel like I’m hungover?! My head feels like it weighs a million pounds. Not fair. I don’t deserve the hangover feeling when I’m not even hungover. My body obviously hates me. Obviously.

Did you hear? I’m official now. I am the proud new owner of some webspace and my own shiny domain. (This is where I would probably link you to it*, but it’s down right now, some ridiculous nonsense about changing over name servers or something.) Of course, all it really is now is just redirecting to my blog, but once I get everything up and going, it’s probably going to be the most amazing thing you’ve ever seen in your life. That’s right. IN YOUR LIFE. Okay, not really, because I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to constructing websites.

So all you fabulous owners of sites that host your blog, want to help a girl out? At least point me in the right direction? Are you really going to leave a poor girl wandering aimlessly around the internet? Seriously. You know what a dangerous place it is!

The other day I get home and find out a ticket came for me in the mail. SERIOUSLY?! A stupid running the red light ticket. There is a photo of my car supposedly running the red light and even video. In the stupid video, CLEARLY, I am just about to pass the other crosswalk when the light turned red. It’s not like the light was red and I decided to go tearing through the intersection. Seriously, man, I’m so pissed. I don’t cruise around Chicago racing through red lights. Now I have a stupid $77 ticket, that I don’t think I even deserve because of those stupid cameras on the traffic lights. If I intentionally did it, I would pay it and not bitch about it, but I don’t think I deserve it so I am going to bitch about it! bitchbitchbitchbitch

Grey’s Anatomy last night, people. I know some of you watch it. Tell me what your thinking. Alex and Lexie? Totally called that! I am still not liking George and Izzy. It bothers me so much. I’d rather see Izzy and Alex back together, at least they were more interesting. I still think Meredith looks like an old lady. I love that Christina is getting some competition for surgery’s now. Um, and can we have Pacey on here already. Seriously.

Are you ready? It is officially the start of NaBloPoMo or National Blog Posting Month, for those of you who aren’t in the know. I will be posting every day for 30 days or I fail at life, kind of like Heidi and Spencer.

For the little readers I have, if you would like to see me write about anything in particular this month, I will definitely take everything into consideration! I know I will probably feel like I am running out of ideas and will need a little help. Oh and don’t worry, not all my posts will be mocking celebrities or “celebrities” and about my frivolous shopping habits, I promise!

There are a couple things I have in mind for my blog this coming month. Not only will I have a pretty new bloggy design soon, but at least once a week, I do plan on posting at least one MP3 to stream or download, if you so choose. I will force my impeccable music taste on you, unsuspecting readers! You will love it. I swear. So what better way to kick of NaBloPoMo than with a song? As I said before, my music taste is across the board, so you never know what you will get when it comes to my MP3 days!

My choice for this week is Yelle - Je Veux Te Voir. The first link is her Myspace and the second is the actual song. It’s a French poppy club dance song that, I swear, will make you want to get your ass out of your computer chair and dance around. It’s such a fun song. I couldn’t tell you what the hell she is saying, but I still love it. Oh wait, I just looked it up, a tad vulgar. Oops.

It NaBloPoMo time, bitches!

I decided to do a 100 Things About Me type deal that all of blog world has done. It’s over on the right if you would like to be amazed with 5 new facts about me. I know you are chomping at the bit, trying to get over there to read more of my inane ramblings!

This sounds pretty lame but I’m really excited about my blog. A week and a half ago I had like 10 views, if that, today I am at about 100 and it is only 3:00PM. People are also commenting which is awesome. I think a lot of it is from NaBloPoMo, (which starts Thursday if you are interested in getting in on the action) but either way any traffic I get is great!

I’m counting down the minutes until I can leave work. I have a great evening with my favorite person and good tv lined up so I’m ready to go now! Weeds and the Hills (okay, The Hills is not good tv, more like amusing tv) were on yesterday and Nip/Tuck starts today. Thank goodness for DVR!

I tend to pronounce it like NABLAAMO! You know like the word KABLAAMO! I think it makes it more fun.

Annnnnnyway, National Blog Posting Month. Are you down? Basically, it’s about posting every day in November until you want to throw your blog out the window. I think it will be fun. You can find new blogs to read, get your blog out there more and just push the limits of blog writing to where they have never been before.

Now I am probably running late for my meeting at school with an counselor because I HAAAD to blog. Anyway, next post will be a review of Britney Spears’ new album Blackout!
