I feel so late, but I’m so sorry about your puppy (no matter what the age, they’re all puppies to me). Animals are members of the family, and their loss is devastating.

I saw Wall-E too, and it was adorable.

Awww I’m soo sorry about Princess. I know that losing a dog is one of the most painful things in the world. I hope Edie is doing a good job comforting you.

1 - I’m reallly sorry about your loss I’m a crazy animal person and it’s devastating to have to let a pet go who has been with your family. It’s best for them though. We have 3 cats in our apartment, and the other day our youngest, Alison, ran full tilt in to my shin. She hit so hard that she bruised me, and then she bolted and hid. We have a very small apartment and I couldn’t find her anywhere so I started becoming frantic, I made myself projectile vomit sick, and in the end she turned up and was fine.

But even the thought of them getting old and passing on is devastating.

2 - The iphone comes out here next Friday and while I’d love to have one, the plans are absolute garbage. It kind of bums me out actually.

I’m sorry to hear about your dog. Don’t be ashamed of how you feel right now as it’s not ‘just a dog’ you’ve lost but probably a friend and loyal companion. Ignore people who will try to tell you any different and take the time to give this loss a place.

Remember that someone isn’t really gone until they are out of your heart, whether that’s an animal or a human.

Aww, I am sorry about your loss. Pets become one of the family, and I know that they are never just pets. Even my hamster is a member of my family, and I miss him when his is gone. 13 years is a long time. Take care.

I’m very sorry for your loss. I think losing a pet is suffering one of the worst losses because there is that unconditional love and intense bond between someone and their pet that, sometimes, just isn’t as strong between people.

I’ve had to put two pets down and give another one away. It never gets any easier. I hope Edie continues to give you the comfort you need! He’s a sweet pup, and he won’t fill that void from losing your other baby, but it will help. Stay strong, keep busy, and start feeling happy soon.

Edie is such a precious pup. I’m so glad she’s being so sweet to mommy. It always makes me so sad to hear about the loss of a long loved family pet. Mine’s getting close, as she’s 13, and I know that I’ll fall apart. Huggy, hugs.

Our puppies are part of our lives - heck I had a break down when I had to put my hamster down in January. We had him supervised by the vet during the day while I was at work and then I took him home in the evenings for 4 days before he went. He was a $400 hamster, and worth every penny. I get it.

Don’t beat yourself up - and make sure you’re as nice to yourself as possible.
