New things will be happening here at Oh! How Lovely! I’m very excited and will share soon enough!

I figured it was about time that I did these surveys I have been tagged for. Deutlich, Blonde Features and July Bug have all tagged me for a survey (NOT MEME!#@!), so I’m going to do one.
Here are the rules:
Link to the person who tagged you.
Post the rules on your blog.
Share six (6) non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself.
Tag at least 3 people at the end of your post and link to their blogs.
Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
1. Just now, I ate a peanut butter sandwich. It’s not really a sandwich though, because I need to have 2 slices of bread and peanut butter on each. You can’t put them together or the world might end or something.
2. Whenever I am in bed laying down, I have to have a blanket. I just like being covered up. It doesn’t matter if it is summer either. I just like having a blanket all the time.
3. I check to make sure I have my keys at least 3 times before getting out of the car. I’m so paranoid about losing them or locking them in there.
4. I bite my nails. Sometimes I can just decide I want to stop and go weeks, even months without biting them but eventually I lapse back in. I’m trying to stop again.
5. I’m really not good at saving money. I can, but I usually find something I NEEDOMGJUSTHAVETOHAVE. That is a post coming later this week, then you all can see exactly how ridiculous I am.
6. I don’t really like chocolate baked goods or cake. I hate oreos and chocolate cookies. I don’t like cake most of the time. And frosting? Forget it. Too sweet. I will eat a chocolate candy bar though. I don’t get it.
I’m tagging three newer blog I have come across and really like. Go check them out, if you get the chance!

Have you guys seen the line up for Coachella?

I almost forgot today was Tuesday! That means I only have to sit through 2 of my ridiculous 6 1/2 hour CNA classes this week! That is a wonderful, wonderful thing.
This weekend really great. I finally got my hot fudge sundae, that I have been talking about for what seems like weeks. It was so worth the wait. It was insanely cold here in Chicago, so much of the weekend was spent cuddled up watching movies. The writers’ strike has really been affecting our television schedule, so the boyfriend has been getting movies for us. I seen a couple really good movies this weekend, so I’m going to recommend them to everyone!
I really enjoyed both, especially 2 Days in Paris. Definitely check them out if you are looking for something to watch. Next up on our list: Control, Hard Candy and Gone Baby Gone.
Happy Tuesday!

HAHA, you like, that don’t you!? It was either Paris or Diddy, so I went with Paris.
I mentioned a few days ago that I was up for a 20 Something Blog Award. Well, voting is now open!
Most Likable is my category, do you see all those other fabulous people? Seriously, even I nominated one of them (ahemnicoleahem) for it! I’m so not expecting to win, I’m just happy to be apart of it all. Thanks again, girls!
Go here to check out all the categories and nominees, along with their sample posts and to find out how to vote. If you aren’t a member of 20SB, you should probably change that!
Why is it that when you are really looking forward to sleeping, you can never do it? I’ve had a hellish schedule this week. Up at a ridiculous early hour, at school until almost 10PM 3 days a week. I’m tired. I was looking forward to this weekend so much because 3 blissful days of sleeping late! Not having to wake up at 6AM!
What happens?
Yesterday, slept until 9. I got like 6 hours of sleep. Today slept until 9 too, got about 5 hours of sleep. 5-6 hours of sleep does not work for me. I need my sleep or I’m cranky and tired and not too fun. It’s like an unwritten rule this weekend, that everyone must be loud as they possibly can, as early as they possibly can in my house this weekend.
I have one more day to get it right and I am not above shanking someone to get a good night’s sleep.

Last night Will and I went to the movies. I wanted to see both 27 Dresses and Cloverfield, but I figured I would be a good girlfriend and not force him to sit through a chick flick. Cloverfield, it was. Now, back in July, we went to see Transformers and there was this trailer that left everyone like “what just happened?!”. There was all kinds of hype and rumors and it seemed like it was going to be great. Well as you know, most things probably don’t live up to the hype.
Cloverfield = FAIL
About 20 minutes in, I thought I was going to have to leave because I was so motion sick. I think when you make a monster movie, you want it to seem realistic. This was not. Girls running around in heels the whole movie and absolutely no children or elderly people live in Manhattan apparently. Just little things that kind of left you like, SERIOUSLY?!
All in all, I should have went to see my girl, Izzy. 27 Dresses obviously FTW here, people.
The other day I got a surprising email from the lovely Lisa informing me I am a finalist for the 20 Something Blogger Awards. I was nominated by the fabulous Lisa from The Lisa Show for Most Likeable. I don’t know who/if anyone else nominated me also for that, but if you did, thank you! My blog is still a baby, I only started writing in October, but like I said before, I’ve gotten nothing but love from the bloggy world since then and I’m surprised it’s gotten to where it has today!
I think tomorrow Lisa will be putting all the nominees for each category, as well as a few sample posts, up on this site: here. Make sure you stop by and check it out. Get your votes in, even if they aren’t for me. I could careless if I win, I’m just happy to get recognized!

On a completely unrelated note, I just wanted to say hi to the Sanjaya (yeah, the dude with the hair from American Idol) fans who are now visiting my blog! Who knew using “ponyhawk” to describe a models hair in my Project Runway recap would cause linkage from the Official Sanjaya Fansite message board?
Almost three weeks after coming home from Las Vegas, I’m finally getting the last of these pictures up here! I really wish I took more. It’s okay though, soon enough, I will go back. I’m already pestering the boyfriend about when we are going back. He wants to go back to, so all we need is a date and some funds. I feel like there is so much I didn’t see the first time around. We barely covered one end of the strip! Plus, there is shopping and all the clubs I didn’t get to go to because I felt like death! I’m pretty sure I’m going to pack up and move there. See ya!

I don’t know why I continue to watch this show. Tyra makes dumb as decisions and always picks the wrong girl. The only thing Tyra is good at is giving me reasons to post entries like this one. Anyway, Cycle 10 contestants have been released.

solo photos and information on these wannabes
What do you think? Any of these fierce bitches top model material?

I’m on my dinner break. We are discussing germs, bacteria, virusesĀ and proper disinfecting procedures. Just the kind of stuff you want to learn about before eating! I could share some really interesting (i.e. gross) stuff with you guys, but I will refrain from doing so.
Last post for the day today. Check back tomorrow for my exciting news!
I feel like my blog has become one of those boring “tell you what I did all day” and that’s it kind of blogs. It may just be my schedule right now, but I feel I am in a blog slump. This is no good.
After my ridiculously long day yesterday, I got out of class a bit early. Thank God, because the pointless questions and commentary from fellow students made me want to bang my head into the table repeatedly. I got out at 8:30, which is so much better than 9:50. The boy and I decided to hell with a late dinner and watch Project Runway instead. I got to sleep late today! 10:30 is so much better than 6:00 AM! Unfortunately, I have another grueling 6 1/2 hour class today at 3:30. How in the world am I going to do this for two months?
Las Vegas pictures and a music post to come soon. Forcing my music taste on my readers has always been fun in the past. Hopefully it will get me out of this boring blog mode!
