This week’s giveaway is from Love September. I thought it was about time to get a giveaway going for all the parents out there! Or just anyone who knows someone with a baby, this week’s giveaway would be a great gift. From tutus to slings, Love September has a little bit of everything!
Let’s get to know the creative mind behind this shop.
Tell us a little about you and your shop.
After my son was born and I chose to stay home rather than continue teaching 6th graders, I realized that I needed a hobby, something that I could do during nap time and wouldn’t become “undone” five minutes after I finished it (like cleaning ANYTHING. Inevitably somebody spills a Costco sized container of salsa all over the kitchen tile the instant I finish mopping). So, I bought a sewing machine along with a few patterns and quickly developed an addiction to fabric. When my sewing projects began taking over our house, I made the decision to open a little shop and a little over a year later I’m still working hard to make practical, playful products for you and your little ones.
You’ll be giving away one of your slings today so besides being adorable, what are some advantages of your slings and baby wearing?
I did a lot of research about slings before my second baby was born knowing that it would be difficult to chase a two year old with an infant in my arms. I wanted something functional but fashionable. I couldn’t find EXACTLY what I wanted in fabric I loved, so I sat down and made it!! The best part? I can use it until my baby is a toddler! And it’s so easy to use-I stuff one in my purse and there are no hooks or ties used to attach the pouch sling, so I can put it on quickly and easily. It’s great for both my baby and me-she loves to held close and I still have my hands free!
You have some really cute other items in your shop but what is your favorite one at the moment?
I can send my husband to the grocery store with BOTH kids when he’s wearing the Darcy sling, so obviously that’s a favorite, but I also really love the Custom Baby Clothes Quilts. I think that they are a fabulous way to preserve the memories of a child’s babyhood without keeping the boxes of outgrown clothing.
Beth from Love September is giving away one sling of the winner’s choice from these three designs pictured in any size!

(from left to right: The Harriet, The Darcy and The Elinor)
To enter:
- Go to Love September’s shop and take a look around.
